Last Post Views Replies Comments 02/02/2011 49 - Reading Busses Station Changes - admin - From Monday 7th February most bus routes that route via the station will be diverted to run through the town centre. This is due to the station redevelopment and is likely to effect timetables etc. Check Reading Busses website for updated timetables and more information regarding the closures. 03/12/2010 164 - December 2010 - Train Service Alterations - admin - From the 27th December to the 3rd January, train lines through Reading station will be altered...25th December - No trains running.26th December - No trains running.27th - 30th December - Reading station will be closed and trains will not pass through Reading Station so expect rail replacement services.31st December - Routes will be open but a bank holiday service will be operating.1st January - Long distance services will run to London via alternate routes or via Waterloo. The line between Didcot Parkway and Reading will also be closed and alternate transport will be arranged. All other routes will be open with on a bank holiday service.2nd January - Similar to above (routes might be different) but a Sunday service will be in operation.3rd January - Normal bank holiday service but the station will be closed overnight for finalising improvements.
